Windy Yang, the so-called ‘Spa Lady’, discovered Japanese Hot Springs, or ‘onsen’, some 40 years ago in Japan and so her Onsen love affair began…

Spring 1999, Windy went to Japan for a special study and working tour to familiarize herself in the Japanese thermal spring resort hotels working as waitress and sometimes the lady owner. Japan major newspapers as Asahi Shimbun, Yomiuri Shimbun and local dailies widely reported her special experiences. She is often invited to world famous spa resorts for reports and speeches and is regarded as the “Spa Ambassador from Taiwan”.

別號『溫泉女王』的楊麗芳，從事旅遊採訪、溫泉SPA寫作、國際觀光交流及國內外溫泉SPA演講等活動，也是國際順風社亞洲區Skal Asia的PR Director.

楊麗芳是熱愛泡湯達40年的溫泉奇女子，從首度拜訪日本北海道登別溫泉鄉以來，就開始跟溫泉談戀愛，並且走遍日本、韓國、泰國、紐西蘭及瑞士等1000多座溫泉。為了她的溫泉愛人，還努力泡湯，學了一口「溫泉日語」。

1999年4月，她為了深入了解日本溫泉文化，特地到日本溫泉鄉從事溫泉旅館女中及女將的親身實習體驗。在實習兩個月後，對日本溫泉女將也就是旅館老闆娘，現身說法演講特殊女中女將的溫泉心得，獲得日本朝日新聞、讀賣新聞及新潟日報、群馬上毛新聞等報採訪報導。日本媒體稱她為「來自台灣的溫泉大使」或是「跟溫泉談戀愛的台灣旅行作家」。

Spa Lady認為，泡溫泉有媽媽的味道。泡湯時宛如在母親子宮裡溫泉孕育的胎兒一般，泡在溫暖的羊水中，被母親無微不至的照顧、呵護著，有回歸母體的溫馨美感。她喜歡獨自旅行，當渴望有個溫暖的懷抱時，溫泉彷彿是最忠實的保鑣，又像是最鍾情的戀人，緊緊地擁抱著寂寞的旅者，那種愛戀著溫泉的心情驅使她為溫泉SPA走天涯。
